Dewling is a small daily tree-growing game. We built it to collect as little data as possible: there are no accounts, no sign-ups, and your game progress never leaves your device.
Data stored on your device
Your tree, streak, Dew Drops, Grove history, and settings are stored locally on your device only. We cannot see them. Deleting the app deletes this data permanently.
Notifications
Daily reminders are optional and off by default. If you enable them, they are scheduled locally on your device; no notification data is sent to us or anyone else.
Advertising
Dewling shows rewarded ads only — short videos you can choose to watch in exchange for an in-game Dew Drop. We never show forced or banner ads. Ads are served by Google AdMob. We request non-personalized ads, but AdMob still processes some data to serve and measure ads, such as your device's advertising identifier, IP address, and coarse device information. This processing is governed by Google's policies:
Sharing
The share feature creates an image of your tree on your device and hands it to the app you choose (e.g. Messages, Instagram). Nothing is shared unless you actively do so.
Analytics
The app currently includes no analytics or crash-reporting SDKs beyond what the ad provider described above processes. If this changes, this policy will be updated first.
Children
Dewling is a general-audience app. It has no chat, no user content, and no data collection of its own. Ads are requested in non-personalized mode.
Your choices
- Reminders: enable or disable any time in the app's settings.
- Ads: watching rewarded ads is always your choice.
- Data deletion: uninstall the app — all local data is removed.
- Ad personalization: managed in your device settings (iOS: Settings → Privacy → Tracking / Apple Advertising; Android: Settings → Google → Ads).
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with an updated date.
